In USA the John Deere 6150M is powered by a PowerTech PVX 6.8 L engine and utilizes a VGT turbocharger.
Emissions control systems on the tractor include EGR (exhaust gas re circulation) and a DPF (diesel particulate filter).
Our team at Alt Tune have the ability to close the EGR valve and also allow the entire system to be removed, often the EGR coolers develop leaks or the EGR valve motor / gears can fail leaving a tractor inoperable. We also have the ability to allow full removal of the DPF system and all off its sensors, this saves the operator fuel, time and lessens the risk of fire when they machine is doing its automatic regeneration.
Alt Tune can increase the power the the 6150M via a ECU / ECM tune, recently we increased a USA based machine by 40 HP and also removed its EGR and DPF systems.
