Alientech has released three new protocols for KESS3. This means that you can now work in Bench mode on three of the most widespread transmissions in the European market.
Work on the Bosch ZF8HP55 TCU, used in Audi vehicles with 2.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI engines (2010 to 2016), to control the 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Also supported is the 7-speed Getrag dual-clutch transmission found in BMW and MINI vehicles with 1.5L petrol and diesel engines (2015–2020), managed by the BOSCH 7DCT300 SH72569R. Finally, the Mercedes-Benz 9G-Tronic, including the C43 AMG, is supported with the BOSCH VGS-NAG3 TCU (2016–2020).
Check compatibility with the newly supported vehicles and TCUs:
- Audi – 2.0 TFSI and 3.0 TDI
- BMW/Mini – 1.5d and 1.5i
- Mercedes-Benz – 2.0, 3.0 (diesel and petrol)
With these new protocols, you can:
- Read and write calibration files on the bench without opening the control unit.
- Customize key parameters like shift timing, clutch pressure, and torque converter response.
- Improve ECU-TCU coordination for a smoother and more efficient powertrain management.
