The customer was looking for more power and torque to help pull heavy loads carting pine from the local forests to the mill.
We upgraded the power to 600 HP and 2050 FT LB of torque to help the customer get their loads moved faster and thus increasing productivity. The Kenworth logging truck’s Cummins E5 engine now pulls heavy loads with increased power and torque, ensuring smoother acceleration and improved towing capabilities. And that’s not all – we’ve also achieved significant gains in fuel efficiency, saving our customer valuable resources in the long run
