KESS3 now supports both OBD and BENCH mode for the Keihin 38770-MKC ECU, fitted to Honda Gold Wing 1800cc models from 2018 onward.
OBD mode allows direct programming through the diagnostic port and is also supported by Powergate, while BENCH mode provides direct ECU access without opening the control unit. This gives workshops greater flexibility when working on Honda’s flagship touring platform.
