Recently we tuned a Subaru Legacy running the 2.0L Diesel Boxer engine.

It is common for these cars to suffer from DPF (diesel particulate filter) problems, they become blocked and are unable to self regenerate. This can be due to high ash content engine oil or simply age and km. A replacement DPF can often cost as much as the value of the vehicle.

Here at Alt Tune we are able to solve DPF problems on the Subaru range and also command the EGR (exhaust gas re circulation) system to stay closed preventing carbon build up in the intake and valves.

We also have the ability to increase the power of the Subaru Legacy diesel via a ECU tune / remap / chip.
