The Solution

We took a look at the Vermeer trencher and decided to use a Caterpillar ET to tune the ECU. By remapping the ECU we could optimize the engine’s performance and unlock its hidden potential.

After the tune, the customer could feel an increase in power and torque that resulted in a more efficient trencher. Power tuning the Vermeer T1055 trencher offers an exciting opportunity to enhance its already impressive performance and productivity.
